Four years. How quickly they have flown by. The countdown to turning four was eagerly marked on the calender for several weeks. On the day she woke up just after 4am she was that excited! A pancake breakfast and birthday song to kick off the celebrations....

I love birthdays that begin the celebrations early! (Perhaps not quite 4am) We used to take a birthday breakfast in bed to our children when they were young. When they became teenagers they didn't want anything to do with breakfast!

I love glowy birthday cake photos with candles, or glowy birthday pancake photos. Four year olds are wonderful arn't they!!
